Croatia’s travel agency to sell ‘flying-themed’ business cards – Reuters
A Croatia travel agency has launched an online shop to sell “flying-related” cards.
The company, Croatias Travel Agency, said the campaign will target travel companies who want to attract tourists to the country and sell the cards to other companies in the country.
“We are a business in the travel sector.
We want to create a brand and we want to sell it, so we decided to sell the business cards for the first time,” said Marta Zajac, the company’s head of marketing.”
It’s a new concept for us, so the concept was to create an online store where we sell a range of products for the tourism industry, for the travel agencies and for the small and medium-sized companies,” she said.”
There are a lot of people in the tourism sector who travel and they would like to be able to buy a card for that.”
We hope that it will create a new way of travelling in Croatia and we are very happy with the results so far.
“Croatia is the third country to use its tourism sector to launch a travel promotion campaign.
In March, the Croatian Tourism Board launched an initiative to introduce travelcards to the tourism market.
But the move has so far only been seen in Croatia, with a few other European countries using the same strategy.
