LSR to open second Alameda location after failing to secure contract
A travel agency with a record number of customers is set to open a second Alhambra location after being shut out by a contract negotiation.
The travel agency was told it would need to move out of the Alameda area.
Its owner is currently seeking an additional two-year deal for the new site in downtown Alameda.
The LSR website shows it has more than 9,000 registered clients.
The company’s parent company, LSR Travel, said the new Alhambrans location would be able to support the business and provide its clients with better customer service and higher quality products.
LSR has been operating since 1998 and was one of the first travel agents to open in the city.
Its services include travel insurance and hotel bookings.
