5-2 win over Milan over Napoli on Sunday
Scudetto champions Napoli had to wait until Sunday to defeat fifth-placed Milan in the Serie A final.
Napoli took the lead through a Mario Mandzukic penalty from the spot after Joe Battaglia was fouled by Massimo Luongo.
The Italian side, who had won just two of their previous four league games, failed to register a single shot on target in the first half.
The second half saw the hosts make more of an effort, as they went close with an effort on goal by Marco Callejon.
Milan started the second half strongly, though, with a Tom Huddlestone corner from 25 yards after the break.
Mario Balotelli scored in the 70th minute for the hosts, but the game was ultimately drawn.
Bravi Lazio reached the final by beating Roma 3-2 on penalties in last year’s Europa League final.
